Open spin at Wegmans Good Dog Park in Onondaga Lake Park. Bring your spinning, knitting, lunch, chair and maybe sunscreen and bugspray. The location is 49 Cold Springs Trail, Liverpool, NY 13088. In case of rain we will meet virtually via Zoom.
Saturday Sept 11/12th: Spinning at Golden Harvest Festival at Beaver Lake Nature Center

Saturday Sept 18th, 10:00am – 2:00pm: Welcome New Members, Pot Luck Luncheon and Market Day
For the Pot-Luck Lunch, bring a dish to pass along with your table setting.
For Market Day, members can bring items to sell – fiber related, food, plants, etc. Non-members may also bring items, but need to pay a $20 fee to the guild.
Saturday October 23rd, 10:00am – 2:00pm: Heritage Breed Study – Columbia
Guild members will receive 3 oz of Columbia fiber to spin. Bring your spinning wheel or spindle to try out this conservation heritage breed. We will all spin it together and have an open discussion on how we spun it, the characteristics of our yarns, our impressions of the fiber and ideas for projects. You might also want to bring a niddy-noddy and a couple of extra bobbins, in case you want to make different test samples.

Saturday Nov 20th, 10:00am – 2:00pm: Charity Knit and Crochet
Bring your knitting needles and crochet hooks, patterns and yarn to craft items for local charities. Yarn should be acrylic or a very washable wool blend. Another option is to bring completed items to donate. Cold weather is coming and hats, scarves, mittens, etc are very much needed and appreciated by our less fortunate neighbors.
Saturday Dec 18th, 10:00am – 2:00pm: Holiday Party
Bring your spinning, knitting, crocheting, etc for a relaxing break from the hectic holidays. Bring treats to share with the group if you are so inclined along with your lunch and coffee mug.
