Bring a dish to pass along with your place setting. Decorate your spinning wheel to celebrate Roc Day.


Saturday February 19th, 10:00am – 2:00pm: Fiber Travels in India with Marilyn Romatka DVD

We’ll watch the “The Handicrafts of Gujarat” by Marilyn Romatka. This travel DVD highlights the traditional crafts found in the Indian state of Gujarat: weaving techniques, pit looms, silk, spinning, fabric surface design and camels. This meeting will be held via Zoom so you can watch in the comfort of your own home.


Saturday March 19th, 10:00am – 2:00pm: Sheep Breed Bingo

We’ll play Sheep Breed Bingo, prizes for the winners.


Saturday April 16th, 10:00am – 2:00pm: “Shetland: The Most Complicated Wools on the Planet” with Deb Robson

“Shetland sheep have a very long history, and fiber artists looking for Shetland wool will find a range of
textures and types, from fibers suitable for making rugs to the more familiar sweater and fine lace components. Knowing what’s out there in the realm of Shetland wools helps us select just the right fleece or yarn for a given project.” This program will be held via Zoom.

Saturday May 21st, 10:00am – 2:00pm: Guild Auction

Please bring two or more items to be auctioned off.  We always have a wide variety of donated items so bring your wallet and a guest to join in the fun.  Plan on arriving early in order to display your donations and get a good view of all the items prior to the start of the auction.

Saturday and Sunday, May 28-29th: Massachusetts Sheep & Woolcraft Fair at Cummington Fair Grounds, Massachusetts


Saturday June 18th, 10:00am – 2:00pm: Bundle Dyeing

Create botanical prints from flowers, petals and leaves.

Saturday/Sunday June 11/12th, 10:00am – 4:00pm: CNY Fiber Festival

Guild members will be demonstrating spinning at the CNY Fiber Festival held in Bouckville, NY


Saturday July 16th, 10:00am – 2:00pm: Open Spin

We’ll gather for spining and conversation at the Good Dog Park in Onondaga Lake Park.


Saturday August 20th, 10:00am – 2:00pm: Open Spin

Saturday/Sunday August 27/28th: Guild Weekend at the NYS Fair Wool Center

Guild members will be demonstrating spinning and other fiber arts at the NYS Fair in the Wool Center.
