Saturday/Sunday August 27/28th: Guild Weekend at the NYS Fair Wool Center
Guild members will be demonstrating spinning and other fiber arts at the NYS Fair in the Wool Center.

For the Pot-Luck Lunch, bring a dish to pass and your table setting.
For Market Day, members can bring items to sell – fiber related, food, plants, etc. Non-members may also bring items, but need to pay a $20 fee to the guild.

Saturday November 19th, 10:00am – 2:00pm: Charity Knit/Crochet
Bring your knitting needles and crochet hooks, patterns and yarn to craft items for local charities. Yarn should be acrylic or a very washable wool blend. Cold weather is coming and hats, scarves, mittens, etc are very much needed and appreciated by our less fortunate neighbors. Another option is to bring completed items to donate, Christina Tartaro will collect them for distribution to various organizations.
Saturday December 17th, 10:00am – 2:00pm: Holiday Party
Bring treats to share with the group if you are so inclined. Bring your spinning, knitting, crocheting, etc for a relaxing break from the hectic holidays.
Saturday January 21st, 10:00am – 2:00pm: Roc Day Celebration
For the Pot-Luck Lunch, bring a dish to pass and your table setting. Decorate your wheel and play Sheep Breed Bingo.

Each member is asked to contribute at least two items which can be yarn, fiber, knitting, spinning and weaving books, eggs, plants, fiber equipment, basically things that are spinning, knitting and weaving-related. Bring your cash or checkbook to join in the fun. Plan on arriving early in order to display your donations and get a good view of all the items prior to the start of the auction.
